Nigel
would describe himself as a genius, and what’s
more, a pillar of Woodland Land society, an
inventor, man of letters and quite a good gardener.
He reminds us of a university professor, - and
is in fact modelled on a combo of Mike Batt’s
Uncle Arthur, and his Uncle Peter, neither of
whom were university professors but we just
thought we'd throw that in. .He can invent anything.
He is working on an underwater onion peeler
and a cat detector. The cat detector will be
less useful than the onion peeler because most
people can detect cats anyway. Anyway, he’s
working on one.
He is married to the charming Dotty, who, he
notices is a little bit less pretty and young
than she used to be but is still quite a big
bit pretty and a little bit young so that’s
alright. He drives a helicopter. His helicopter
is blue in the mornings, pink in the afternoon
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and pink
in the mornings, blue in the afternoons on Tuesdays,
Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. His wife Dotty
also has a helicopter which is pink in the mornings
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Other days
it starts out blue and changes to pink at lunchtime.
